Air Force Colonel retires

Air Force Col. Gregory J. Miller is retiring as the vice wing commander of the 80th Flying Training Wing after 24 years of service.

Col. Miller is a decorated combat F-15C fighter pilot and senior Air Force leader who was last serving with the training wing at Shappard Air Force Base, Texas. 

Miller is the son of Richard H. and Mary Louise Miller of Barneveld. He graduated in 1990 from Holland Patent Central High School, and earned a bachelor’s degree in 1994 from Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo.
